Next up - small tea visits one of Assam's most beautiful small-scale tea gardens
Gobin Hazarika is a young tea grower living on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, close to the India/Burma border. For the past 10 years, he has been working to create an exquisite tea garden, and preparing and selling a very special hand-processed, organic tea.
This video shows some of the techniques he uses to create formulas that improve the soil, his use of traditional tools and practices - and preparation of a beautiful green tea that's high in anti-oxidants and beautifully flavoured.
We have a small quantity of Madhupur Village tea available - also hand-made by Gobin. It's a fine quality black tea with a slight overtone of smoky flavour to it, and is one of our best selling teas!
